Resurrection Catholic Parish

Within our Children's Music Ministry our goal is to teach children the language of Music and artistic expression within the context of a Catholic Community of faith.  This includes active and weekly participation in church liturgies.  Our Choristers are actively involved in the spiritual and liturgical life of the parish.  They serve as ministers of music at the 8:45 family Mass on Sunday.  The children's choir program is committed to fostering excellent musicianship, knowledgeable participation in the liturgy, and an active prayer life.  This will include training in music theory, ear training, sight singing, fundamentals of the Catholic Liturgy and involvement in the prayer of the community.  The children's Choir is open to all children of the parish grades 2-8.
